Sacred Storytelling Event
Sunday, April 5, 2020
1 – 4 pm (EDT; New York)

Sacred Stories are stories that inspire us, remind us we are not alone, and connect us in our universality of emotion and experience.  We will have live and pre-recorded stories. Our pre-recorded stories will be from those storytellers who are no longer with us in body, but remain living inside us through their stories.

Story becomes prayer. By telling our story, whether it be adapted from a folk tale, sacred text, or a personal experience, we draw upon what I call “the Torah of our lives” – the sacred text that lives within us all. Storytelling, like music and other creative endeavors, is a way to break through analytical modes of understanding. It gets right to the (sacred) heart.” ~ by Mark Novak
