On Transformation ~ Caterpillar / Butterfly

“Yes, your transformation will be hard. Yes, you will feel frightened, messed up and knocked down. Yes, you’ll want to stop. Yes, it’s the best work you’ll ever do.”
~ Robin Sharma

Let’s face it. Transformation is scary. Does the caterpillar know that he will become a butterfly? In the present moment, maybe he only knows where he is right now. All he can do is trust the process, the great unknown, the unfolding.

“Transformation literally means going beyond your form.”
~ Wayne Dyer

We are all in a state of becoming. Here is a poem from a friend to inspire you to trust the process.

CATERPILLAR / BUTTERFLY
~ by Glenn Parks

He is a happy caterpillar
He finds himself going up a tree
Out on a limb
On to a leaf
With no understanding and no fight he builds a cocoon
He is happy, content, comfortable
He sleeps and peaceful dreams fill his mind
Upon waking, he feels uncertain but not fearful
He feels different but not fearful
He feels uncomfortable but not fearful
There has been a change and more too come
He is excited
He struggles because his safe cocoon is no longer comfortable
It doesn’t fit it doesn’t work
The future is unknown and yet he is not fearful
“What is to become of me” He wonders
The struggle continues as he tries to stretch
He feels bound
It is not comfortable
He breaks free and starts to fall
He stretches and his wings lift him
He is a happy buttery fly
