The poetic rhymes are fun for adults and kids, and the depth of the story reverberates for a lifetime. In The Lorax, Dr. Seuss shows us how the world is interconnected. The Lorax is the guardian of the natural world. He tries to tell the Once-ler about the effect of cutting down all the trees and polluting the rivers, until all is lost … except for the hope of planting a seed.
