There are special people in the world who teach us what love is. One of those people came into my life in middle school as a very special teacher and mentor. Mrs. Chennault taught me how love can transform a life. Her gift to me, I now pass on with the quote above … and in a story.
I was honored to be chosen as a guest teller to share this story at the Florida Storytelling Festival on April 2nd, 2017. The final Sunday morning of the Festival is called “Stories from the Heart.” I was the third of the guest tellers, followed by the featured tellers of the festival. It was a gift to share the stage with such amazing tellers and heart-warming beautiful stories.
