Behind the Headlines: Storytelling

Storytelling Performance gets more mainstream. Check out my interview by Amy Oshier on Behind the Headlines: Naples Daily News – part of the USA TODAY NETWORK. Originally aired at 10 a.m. Sunday on ABC-7. (The show starts after the commercial on the video link below or go directly to the Naples Daily News website.)

I’m super excited that Storytelling Performance is spreading like wildfire. More and more people are discovering the power of story to connect communities, inspire audiences, and create change in hearts and minds. And of course, there is the pure entertainment value. My debut solo storytelling performance is coming up in a couple of weeks. “Legacy of Love” will be at my office on Fri Aug 25th at 7pm. Seating is limited. Get your ticket at LegacyofLove.EventBrite.com.

Coming to Southwest Florida! Storytellers Project is a series of live storytelling nights of true, first-person stories from neighbors and notables. Events are curated and hosted by USA TODAY NETWORK newsrooms. Already in cities across the country, Storytelling Project events will soon come to the campus of Naples Daily News and the Fort Myers News Press. I don’t see dates online yet, but stay tuned at StorytellersProject.com.
